I'd love to be able to have communal access to a space where I could play with a lasercam, FDM, pink foam, etc to churn out ideas. even having a place to store materials would be great. the d.school would be an inspiration source (endless whiteboarding space, easy to hang-out in, and certain to have spontaneous input or collaboration whenever needed or wanted). ditto to Javid’s (and Catherine Maguire’s 3D printer) comments. another wish list item: prototyping studio with day, week, or monthly passes.
