A marriage of science and art with a DIY mentality, this workshop aims to create content and inspiration for artwork through home-brewed EEG readouts.

Beyond the Print presents the work of the University of Houston’s Block 2010 Program students. The themes range from broad societal issues to more introspective thoughts. Taken together, Beyond the Print creates not a dialogue with the viewer, but a symposium.

Critically Caroline/Massive Collective celebrates the artwork of Houston Critical Mass cyclists. All installed work has been inspired by the act of bike riding in Houston’s Inner Loop, and is pinpointed on a large-scale map.

Caroline: A Collective Experience is a collaborative photography exhibit exploring the 3800 through the 5800 blocks of Caroline Street, at the edge of Houston’s Third Ward, Museum district, Midtown and Montrose areas. Twelve photographers selected one or more blocks along Caroline Street as their focus to present their experience of that block.

Houston Poster Art: 2000-2009 selects from the whole of locally significant concert art from the first decade of this century, presenting a number of different styles and techniques, which ultimately map the growth and progression of the art form in Houston over recent history.

Please join the C2 Creative community in opening their new show Hous(e)ton at Caroline Collective Friday, October 2nd from 7pm to 9pm. The show features work from local Houston photographers Shannon Duncan and Ben Desoto.
